Could be my first, could be my last
"Faith will sit at a table with the impossible like it's nothing."
What a great way to start my blogging with such a great quote. I was visiting a church today New Birth (https://www.newbirthcal.org/) in Pittsburgh, CA. I have got to tell you what an amazing sermon. I went with a complete open mind and boy am I glad I did. The word was just saturated in me.
It is very common for we as humans to talk and talk about how much faith we have in something. How much "we believe". But when it comes down to it, do we really? Are we really whole heartedly faithful? Or only when it's convenient? We very often seem to stand solid by our faith when times are on our side. When the wind is blowing in our direction, so to speak. However, when the storm gets to be too rough to stand in that's when we turn our back on what has brought us thus far in this world. Instead of being mad at Him for not coming through when you asked. Look to Him and just believe. "He may not come when you want him to, but he is always on time."
Sometimes, we are asking for the wrong things. Did we ever think about that? Yes an umbrella would be so much easier in a rain storm. But all you need is to stop from getting wet. Won't a trash bag do the trick? How about a cardboard box? Or rather a book to keep our face dry? Yes our God is an awesome and almighty God! He is bigger and greater than anything on and off of this earth. He can more than provide more than we can ever dream of. We just have to trust and believe that he knows what he's doing. He will provide as needed and when the time is right. He will never leave us hanging. Although it may seem that way at times. He has not forsaken us. He never will.
So in your time of need and struggle I challenge you to just believe and know AWESOME things are coming. We also need to praise and thank him when things are good. Not just run to him when times are bad. "If you are not looking up and thanking him when times are good, you can not be angry when times are not the best."
Have a great upcoming week. Speak life to any situation you are facing. Believe he is there. LET GO AND LET GOD.
Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock. Isaiah 26:4
